I am Lindy Gignac, the founder of Supper Nerd. I reside in Charlotte, NC with my husband and three girls. Yes you read that correctly, three girls. Most days I feel so blessed and some days I wonder what sins did I commit in a previous life :)

 

For years I have been helping friends plan their thanksgiving dinners, coordinating food for extended family trips and sharing recipes on a daily basis. I have always said this is not
a business, it is just being a good friend.

Then the other day I found a good friend of mine in the throws of busy season again. She has two kids and her husband works too. She just needed to take something off her plate for a bit. Plus she is on my tennis team and selfishly I did not need that to be the thing to give. So I suggested I just do her "planning" for her for a few weeks. I made her fill out a little questionnaire and it all started.

And as they say so it began. The kiddos and hubs are happy and she is a little less stressed. Now if only Bobby in accounts payable can get his act together.

 

This proved to me there is a need in the market for someone who wants to cook and finds the meal delivery services inconvenient/expensive, but gets bogged down in the planning.
